Hi! Thank you so much for being patient with me. As
spikedluv mentioned in the previous post, work was pretty hectic last month and it took a while to finish these. But hopefully now that I've got a bit more time, I'll be able to post shortly after each challenge closes. Here are the banners for Challenge #127, hope you like them! :)

Date: 2014-02-18 01:23 pm (UTC)Any way, I've always been a Catwoman and wanted Cat as part of my name. I eventually made Katheryne a legal part of my name, just so I could get the Kat in there.
We rescue cats. It's been years since we've had less than twenty. I think we have twenty eight babies right now, and that's counting both the cats and kittens but not the two dogs others in my family have. :-)
According to my Mom, I've been writing something my entire life, but I started fanfic back in '95 when a friend and I started writing short stories in a kind of writing competition to see who could write the most. I wrote one for Kurt, and there has and never will be any turning back since.
That's exactly the limited series I was mentioning, and you really should try Excalibur if you get the chance. That series started back in the '80s when most of the X-Men had had to fake their deaths. Kitty, Kurt, and Rachel Summers (Phoenix 2) were not with them at the time and so, like the rest of the world, believed them dead. I forget the exact whys of how they got there, but they ended up saving Britain with Captain Britain and Meggan. It's my favorite X-Men series of all time, and if I could resurrect just one title, it would be them.
Be sure you don't get Excalibur 2, though. Whereas that title's also good, it's nothing compared to the first. :-)
Kitty has a strong role in the entire series, at times leading the team, and Lockheed, her dragon, is another pretty constant character. I'd be willing to bet you'll love Meggan, too. She's a British shapeshifter whose natural form is akin to a Werewolf, but she also has Fae connections and a love for and bond with animals.
Seriously, check it out when you get the chance!!
Thank you for the job hopes. The market seems so dry here, but I really don't want to have to commute. I'd miss too much time with my babies, Drew, and ficcing!
Stamping is one of those rare online things in which I've not had much participation. I only found out about it after getting back into land comms and so far haven't had a chance to participate in those activities much. Although they do look quite interesting.
At one time, I was considering a land comm, either separate ones for Disney and X-Men or something that would include all animation, comics, and books, but I don't think that's for me because I'd want to participate. What I think I'll eventually do instead is to do a challenge community, much like small fandoms here, for X-Men only leave it open for graphics, vids, and etc. in addition to the fic. For the Disney, maybe a bingo one where members sign up for bingo cards, I pass them out, and then they fill in the spots with whatever they like that goes with the term on the card as long as it's Disney related.
Sorry I didn't get to answer you last night. I was just too pooped to pop when I got home. I hate to admit it, but I kinda slept from around 6 yesterday evening to 5 this morning. We've all had so much going on here that we've just been exhausted lately.
