Hi! Thank you so much for being patient with me. As [livejournal.com profile] spikedluv mentioned in the previous post, work was pretty hectic last month and it took a while to finish these. But hopefully now that I've got a bit more time, I'll be able to post shortly after each challenge closes. Here are the banners for Challenge #127, hope you like them! :)

Thank you! The KFP one is especially lovely! I adore that sunset and Po's little sweet and sly smile at Shifu. :-)

Don't worry about being late: We all understand too well how RL has a tendency to get in the way of OL.

I had the same thought about you but didn't know why I recognized you and even, admittedly, if I should! When you've been in various fandoms for nearly twenty years, you sometimes find the same names popping up again but by different people. I've had that happen more than once, which is why I didn't ask, even though StarianPrincess is a rather unusual, and pretty, handle. :-)

Of course, even the ones you think might stand out sometimes don't. That's why I've got the PT added to my screen name. Kat Lee is actually a part of my real name, but as it turns out, there's a lot of Kat Lees out here.

Any way, glad to know we're comm mates! :-) I wonder what else we have in common?

I have gone through the names myself. My first was Shdwct83, back when I was naive enough to actually post fic underneath my full, real name! I've had, maybe, 20 names since then, and I can't even remember them all now. But I don't see Kat Lee going anywhere ever again. :-)

Mine is Katheryne. Congratulations on your original fic! I've dabbled in it before, but the only thing that really interests me in writing an original, novel-length story is the possible pay. I'd much rather keep fandom characters live and strong in the world of fic. :-)

I adore Kitty and Wolvy's friendship, and his relationship with Jubilee as well. Those bonds are actually my favorite things about Logan.

It's a shame you never got into the comics well. Did you ever try the Kitty Pryde and Wolverine limited series from the '80s? Or Kitty's many starring parts in Excalibur?

I've actually been toying, for a long time now, with the possibilities of making an X-Men and/or Disney comms, but I don't want to get into more than I can handle. I'm also trying to get a job with some actual decent hours (working two now currently, one at 14 hours and one at 6 a week when I do get something in that week which has been rare lately), so I want to give it time to make sure I'll have time after changing jobs to work with a comm. I may even have to cut back some on my fandom activities once I do get a better job.

*Love* the icon!!

I got my spelling from Shadowcat. When I first started reading her in the comics, it was the only way I ever saw her name spelled. Since then, I've seen it spelled both Katherine and Catherine, yet another sign that so many of the writers who get paid to write for the characters we love don't give them as much love, care, or attention as we fanfic writers do.

Any way, I've always been a Catwoman and wanted Cat as part of my name. I eventually made Katheryne a legal part of my name, just so I could get the Kat in there.

We rescue cats. It's been years since we've had less than twenty. I think we have twenty eight babies right now, and that's counting both the cats and kittens but not the two dogs others in my family have. :-)

According to my Mom, I've been writing something my entire life, but I started fanfic back in '95 when a friend and I started writing short stories in a kind of writing competition to see who could write the most. I wrote one for Kurt, and there has and never will be any turning back since.

That's exactly the limited series I was mentioning, and you really should try Excalibur if you get the chance. That series started back in the '80s when most of the X-Men had had to fake their deaths. Kitty, Kurt, and Rachel Summers (Phoenix 2) were not with them at the time and so, like the rest of the world, believed them dead. I forget the exact whys of how they got there, but they ended up saving Britain with Captain Britain and Meggan. It's my favorite X-Men series of all time, and if I could resurrect just one title, it would be them.

Be sure you don't get Excalibur 2, though. Whereas that title's also good, it's nothing compared to the first. :-)

Kitty has a strong role in the entire series, at times leading the team, and Lockheed, her dragon, is another pretty constant character. I'd be willing to bet you'll love Meggan, too. She's a British shapeshifter whose natural form is akin to a Werewolf, but she also has Fae connections and a love for and bond with animals.

Seriously, check it out when you get the chance!!

Thank you for the job hopes. The market seems so dry here, but I really don't want to have to commute. I'd miss too much time with my babies, Drew, and ficcing!

Stamping is one of those rare online things in which I've not had much participation. I only found out about it after getting back into land comms and so far haven't had a chance to participate in those activities much. Although they do look quite interesting.

At one time, I was considering a land comm, either separate ones for Disney and X-Men or something that would include all animation, comics, and books, but I don't think that's for me because I'd want to participate. What I think I'll eventually do instead is to do a challenge community, much like small fandoms here, for X-Men only leave it open for graphics, vids, and etc. in addition to the fic. For the Disney, maybe a bingo one where members sign up for bingo cards, I pass them out, and then they fill in the spots with whatever they like that goes with the term on the card as long as it's Disney related.

Sorry I didn't get to answer you last night. I was just too pooped to pop when I got home. I hate to admit it, but I kinda slept from around 6 yesterday evening to 5 this morning. We've all had so much going on here that we've just been exhausted lately.
