Challenge #47: Harlequin

Our next challenge is: Harlequin.
Definitions:
1. a traditional comic character in pantomime, who wears a mask and spangled, diamond-patterned tights of many colors and sometimes carries a wooden wand or sword;
2. a clown, buffoon;
3. comic, ludicrous;
4. of many colors, colorful; or
5. a type of romance story.
Go ahead and twist the challenge however you want, it’s up to you. *g*
You have two weeks to write your fic and post or link to it here. I will post a new challenge on Wednesday, March 10th.
