2: a statement or report current without known authority for its truth

Syn: buzz, dish, gossip, hearsay, noise, report, scuttlebutt, talk, tattle, word

Someone starts a rumor, hears one, reacts to one . . . . Go ahead and twist the challenge however you want, it’s up to you. *g*

You have two weeks to write your fic and post or link to it here. I will post a new challenge on Wednesday, March 12th.

I've really taken a shine to this comm. so I don't want to see it go dead either. Erm, I have a few ideas for challenges, if I may...

usurp
def: take (a position of power or importance) illegally or by force.

misanthropy
def: a dislike of humankind.

divination
def: the practice of seeking knowledge of the future or the unknown by supernatural means.

Not sure if I was supposed to post the definitions also; I just thought it might help? *backflips off the end of the world*

Thank you for these suggestions! I'm really happy that you've taken a shine to this comm. *g* (Including the def is a-okay.) I'm gonna use one of them for our next challenge (which is going up right now, if a day late).
