Challenge #123: Naughty
Nov. 20th, 2013 04:27 pmThe Underdog challenge is now closed.
Our next challenge is: Naughty.
We’re coming upon the season when people reflect upon whether they’ve been naughty or nice, so go ahead and twist the challenge however you want, it’s up to you. *g*
You have two weeks to write your fic and post or link to it here. I will post a new challenge on Wednesday, December 4th.
This week’s challenge doesn’t inspire you? Check out our previous challenges.
If at any time you need to refresh your memory about subject lines, headers, or anything else, check out the rules.
Have fun!
I want to keep the community active, so please feel free to suggest future challenges in the comments to this post.

Date: 2013-11-25 06:27 pm (UTC)I would be
thrilledhappy with a general participation banner, but if you feel up to the challenge and wish to make more personal buttons, that would be fine, too. As you can see, right now we only have one or two people posting for each challenge, but that might change once they all see the lovely buttons they could be getting *G* so whatever you'd feel more comfortable with is fine.I'll make an announcement to the community that there will now be participation banners, if you're certain you want to take us on. Would you like to start with the current challenge? (I'd also probably limit the banners to people who fill the challenge during the initial two week period, as all our prompts remain open indefinitely and I'm not sure that it's fair to ask you to make a participation banner for challenge #3 because I or anyone else just got around to writing for it. Does that sound alright with you?)
Thanks again!!

Date: 2013-12-04 10:26 am (UTC)I made two templates they could choose from for the current theme, and will post them or send them to you (whichever you prefer) once I get home from work tonight. I'm thinking I could create two or three per theme, depending on the turnout and graphic resources I have, and also offer to make personal ones if they'd like. It might take a few days after you post the prompt, but it's really no problem. :)
I agree about making them for those who fill the prompts during the two-week period. Maybe someday you could do a table thing - using old prompts which weren't written for - and I could do banners for that, too? Banners will contain the writer's username, title of their story, the prompt/challenge, and of course, the community details.

Date: 2013-12-04 11:50 am (UTC)I think this first time you should send them to me and I'll post them with an announcement that you'll be creating participation banners for us, and probably for future challenges you can go ahead and post them yourself.
A few days after the new prompt goes up isn't a problem.
Thanks again! *g*

Date: 2013-12-06 07:06 pm (UTC)Also, someone suggested that it would be nice to have a (or a couple) of promotional buttons for us to use to promote the community. Would you be willing and have time to do that?
