Date: 2008-04-22 10:44 pm (UTC)That's a toughie; I have the same problem over at
It's easier to say what ISN'T a small fandom. The biggies are easy, of course, SPN, BtVS, The Sentinel, due South. Then there are the medium sized fandoms, like NCIS and CSI, or the once-popular, now not very active fandoms like Mag7, which I wouldn't include.
I threw some examples out there with the interests, and basically I'll leave it up to your discretion unless it's a fandom I personally know isn't small.
How unhelpful was that?!! *g*

Date: 2008-04-23 08:56 pm (UTC)Speaking of said fandom, I was looking at your header and... ...Well, none of the characters in the fandom have canon names. They're usually referred to by nicknames based on their personality or by the actor names. What would I do for the pairing/character field there?
Apparently, I like complicated. One fandom with no names, one with time travel and one just has insane demi-god clowns. And those are just my main ones.

Use whatever nicknames you'd normally use. When I say nicknames I mean no cutesy pairing names where the two character names are mushed together, like Spike/Xander = Spander, because those of us unfamiliar with the fandom will have no idea who they are. (Especially us folk trying to tag the post. *g*)

Date: 2008-04-23 11:00 pm (UTC)I'll just stick with using the actor names like I usually do. I doubt there'll be any confusion, since the actors are fairly unknown, Japanese, and probably do not actually kill people and zombies on a daily basis.
