Challenge #123: Naughty

Our next challenge is: Naughty.

We’re coming upon the season when people reflect upon whether they’ve been naughty or nice, so go ahead and twist the challenge however you want, it’s up to you. *g*

You have two weeks to write your fic and post or link to it here. I will post a new challenge on Wednesday, December 4th.

Hi there! I've been following this community for a while now and do agree that we should keep it alive - though I haven't yet been able to participate in any of the challenges myself. (Will remedy this soon, I promise!) While I don't have any future challenge suggestions in mind right now, I would however like to offer to create participation banners if you'll have me? :) I could do a general banner that says 'I participated in smallfandomflsh's Naughty challenge!', or if the writer prefers, I could also do a personal one which features their fandom/characters/pairing for that particular challenge? I'm not the best graphics maker out there but hopefully this will provide a bit of incentive.

Wow, thank you, that's a lovely offer! It would be great to be able to present participants with a banner. And as you say, it might provide some incentive to others.

I would be thrilled happy with a general participation banner, but if you feel up to the challenge and wish to make more personal buttons, that would be fine, too. As you can see, right now we only have one or two people posting for each challenge, but that might change once they all see the lovely buttons they could be getting *G* so whatever you'd feel more comfortable with is fine.

I'll make an announcement to the community that there will now be participation banners, if you're certain you want to take us on. Would you like to start with the current challenge? (I'd also probably limit the banners to people who fill the challenge during the initial two week period, as all our prompts remain open indefinitely and I'm not sure that it's fair to ask you to make a participation banner for challenge #3 because I or anyone else just got around to writing for it. Does that sound alright with you?)

I made two templates they could choose from for the current theme, and will post them or send them to you (whichever you prefer) once I get home from work tonight. I'm thinking I could create two or three per theme, depending on the turnout and graphic resources I have, and also offer to make personal ones if they'd like. It might take a few days after you post the prompt, but it's really no problem. :)

I agree about making them for those who fill the prompts during the two-week period. Maybe someday you could do a table thing - using old prompts which weren't written for - and I could do banners for that, too? Banners will contain the writer's username, title of their story, the prompt/challenge, and of course, the community details.

I think this first time you should send them to me and I'll post them with an announcement that you'll be creating participation banners for us, and probably for future challenges you can go ahead and post them yourself.

A few days after the new prompt goes up isn't a problem.

Just wanted to let you know that there are some comments to the mod/banner post I made the other day that you might want to read. Feel free to reply if you want.

Also, someone suggested that it would be nice to have a (or a couple) of promotional buttons for us to use to promote the community. Would you be willing and have time to do that?
