Challenge #217: Synesthesia

Our next challenge is: Synesthesia
Def:
1. A sensation produced in one modality when a stimulus is applied to another modality, as when the hearing of a certain sound induces the visualization of a certain color.
2. [in Medicine] a. A condition in which one type of stimulation evokes the sensation of another, as when the hearing of a sound produces the visualization of a color. b. A sensation felt in one part of the body as a result of stimulus that is applied to another, as in referred pain.
3. [from Wikipedia] A perceptual phenomenon in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to automatic, involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway.
Go ahead and twist the challenge however you want, it’s up to you. *g*
You have two weeks to write your fic and post or link to it here. I will post a new challenge on Wednesday, March 7th.
